Another top position for corneal transplants

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University Hospital of Cologne has once again maintained its leading position in the field of corneal transplants in Germany in 2023. With over 800 successfully performed operations, the department remains the leader in this field. Around 10 percent of all corneal transplants in Germany are performed in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University Hospital of Cologne.
